Welcome to Northern Trucking Inspections. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our truck inspection services, website, and mobile applications. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Northern Trucking Inspections services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Northern Trucking Inspections provides the following services:

  • DOT Annual Inspections
  • DOT 90-Day Inspections
  • Diesel Emissions Testing
  • DPF/DEF System Checks
  • EV/Hybrid Inspections
  • Brake System Certification
  • Pre-Purchase Inspections
  • Fleet Compliance Audits
  • Emergency Road Inspections

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.

3. Booking and Appointments

When booking an inspection appointment:

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You must have valid vehicle registration and driver's license
  • Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance
  • Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled time
  • Late arrivals may result in rescheduling
  • No-show fees may apply for missed appointments without notice

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept:

  • Cash
  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
  • Company Checks (with prior approval)
  • Fleet Account Billing (for established customers)

All prices are subject to change without notice. A $35 fee will be charged for returned checks.

5. Vehicle and Driver Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the vehicle is clean and accessible for inspection
  • Providing all necessary documentation (registration, insurance, etc.)
  • Removing personal items from the vehicle if requested
  • Disclosing any known vehicle defects or safety concerns
  • Ensuring the vehicle is safe to operate to our facility

6. Inspection Results

Inspection results are based on visual and functional tests conducted at the time of inspection. We are not responsible for:

  • Hidden defects not discoverable through standard inspection methods
  • Issues that develop after the inspection is completed
  • Components that were inaccessible during inspection

A passing inspection does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of the vehicle's condition.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northern Trucking Inspections shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Vehicle damage that occurs during normal inspection procedures
  • Downtime, lost profits, or business interruption
  • Third-party actions or events beyond our control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the inspection service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our website and services, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Northern Trucking Inspections and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Northern Trucking Inspections from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of these terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Essex County, New Jersey.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
